myspaceMySpace ist eine Plattform nicht nur für junge Mädchen, die über Musik und Jungs labern wollen, sondern für uns ein Marketinginstrument – wenn man es richtig einsetzt. Und es ist auch gar nicht schwer. 

Zuerst brauchst du natürlich einen MySpace Account, das sieht dann so aus: www.myspace.com/deinname Da haben wir schon die erste Möglichkeit, unsere Keywords unterzubringen. Wähle weise, denn der Name lässt sich nicht mehr ändern. Aber nachdem wir nicht auf einen Account limitiert sind…

Die wichtigste Funktion für uns ist wohl Freunde zu adden. Also möglichst viele Freunde hinzuzufügen. Warum wollen wir das? Die meisten Leute sehen unsere Statusupdates, unsere neuen Blogeinträge und überhaupt alles in einer Übersicht, was wir tun. 

Das zweite wesentliche ist das Blog von MySpace. Es läuft sehr gut in den Suchmaschinen also willst du sicher Blogposts für deine Promotion oder Bewerbung deiner Webseiten auch im MySpace Blog veröffentlichen. Kümmer dich nicht um Duplicate Content, also dass du den exakt gleichen Text schon woanders publiziert hast, das kümmert uns einen Arsch und ist für unsere Ergebnisse nicht wichtig. Duplicate Content ist eh ein Mythos, genau wie das “rel=nofollow” Attribut. Während alle Webmaster über diese Probleme sprechen nutzen wir diese Möglichkeiten voll aus. Für den Augenblick glaub mir einfach, dass es kein Problem mit Duplicate Content gibt und dass dein Blog auf MySpace sehr gute Ergebnisse bringen wird. 

Okay, wir haben jetzt also unsere Posts auf dem MySpace Blog und gleichzeitig werden alle unsere Freunde, die unsere Updates verfolgen, über den neuen Blogpost informiert. Wenn der jetzt auch noch für einen Teil davon ansprechend ist, hast du mit einer Klappe gleich einige hundert Leser erreicht. Natürlich musst du dein Netzwerk etwas ausbauen, Kommentare auf anderen Profilen hinterlassen usw. Aber trag auch etwas bei und schreib nicht einfach nur “Hey, saucool hier” und verschwinde wieder. Wenn die Leute merken, dass du Interesse an ihnen hast, haben sie auch Interesse an dir. Also bau dein Netzwerk aus aber verwende nicht zuviel Zeit am Tag auf das adden neuer Freunde. Du hast wichtigeres zu tun. 

In jedem Fall ist ein MySpace Profil und vor allen Dingen ein Blog auf MySpace eine sehr gute Taktik, um auf sein Angebot aufmerksam zu machen. Zusammen mit den weiteren Präsenzen und zusätzlichen Tools wird es ein wertvolles Marketinginstrument werden. 

Dass du ein Blog auf MySpace haben kannst, ist zwar nicht neu oder spektakulär; aber viele Marketer übersehen dabei, dass diese Blogs sich gut in den Suchmaschinen halten. Und darum geht es: Taktiken zu kennen und zu nutzen, die effektiv sind und nicht viele Leute nutzen. Fang an, Geschwindigkeit ist Trumpf!

  • geh auf MySpace und eröffne ein Benutzerkonto
  • wähl deinen Namen gut aus und wähle einen passende Begriff oder Keywords
  • ergänz dein Profil und mach Freundschaftsanfragen bei Personen, die ähnliche Interessen haben
  • veröffentliche deine Artikel, Blogposts etc. auf dem MySpace Blog (Links setzen nicht vergeßen)
