Vor einiger Zeit ging ein Freund von mir für einige Monate nach Korea, um dort Auslandserfahrungen zu sammeln und an der Baduk Akademie seine Fähigkeiten in dem Spiel GO zu verbessern. Ein fantastisches Unterfangen.
Er hatte die Idee, seine Eindrücke in einem Blog mit der Welt zu teilen; insbesondere natürlich mit seinen Freunden und seiner Familie zuhause. Er fragte mich dazu und ich riet ihm, ein WordPress Blog zu eröffnen. Wenn er wollte, könnte er die kostenlose Version nutzen. Ich habe ihm das Blog anschließend eingerichtet und bot ihm an, dass er damit noch etwas Geld verdienen könnte und ich es in den Suchergebnissen nach oben bringen würde.
Mein Freund hatte nicht sehr viel Ahnung von diesen Dingen. Sein Blog sollte sich um GO und seine Zeit an der Baduk Akademie drehen. Wegen der Suchmaschinenoptimierung fragte er mich “Du willst aber nicht die Keywords mit Porn, Porno, Sex, Erotik etc. vollstopfen oder?” Natürlich wollte er nicht, dass sein Blog mit derartigem in Verbindung gebracht wird. Aber es zeigt auch, dass der Ottonormalverbraucher keine Ahnung von SEO und Keywords hat.
Als erfahrenen Webmastern oder SEOs ist uns klar, dass niemand eine Seite nach oben bringen kann, wenn er derartige Füllwörter benutzt, die mehr als ausgelutscht, weil hart umkämpft sind. In den alten Tagen hätte diese Methode vielleicht noch etwas gebracht, aber die Zeiten sind schon seit Jahren vorbei. Heutzutage muss man wirklich gut die Keywords recherchieren, sich auf Nischen spezialisieren und nützlichen Content produzieren.
Apropos Nische: das Blog meines Freundes erreichte innerhalb kürzester Zeit einen Pagerank von 4, zumindest nach dem, was die Google Toolbar anzeigt. Das entspricht natürlich nicht dem echten Pagerank und ist nur eine Orientierungshilfe von Google für uns Normalsterbliche, aber sagt tatsächlich nicht viel über die echten Suchergebnisse aus.
Das Go-Blog hat sich in kürzester Zeit gemausert, obwohl mein Kumpel nur 1-2 Mal pro Woche einen Eintrag gepostet hat. Aber es ist ein kleiner Markt gewesen mit wenig Konkurrenz. So konnte sein Blog zu den Begriffen “Go, Baduk Akademie” etc. sehr schnell sehr gute Ergebnisse erzielen. Das lag aber auch mit an der Autorität von WordPress.com, die seine Seite, die ja eine Subdomain darstellte, mit hochpushte.
Leider lässt ein kostenloses WordPress Blog keine Einbindung von AdSense zu, sonst hätte er einige Euro mit seinem Blog verdienen können. Aber sobald wir sein Blog umziehen und er weiterschreibt über Go-Meisterschaften, Turniere und Spielzüge hat er sicherliche eine nette kleine Einnahmequelle. Vielleicht mache ich da eine Fallstudie drauß und werde zeigen, wie wir sein Blog innerhalb kurzer Zeit profitabel machen und mit welchen Techniken. Freu dich also schonmal auf mehr.
Um das Ganze zu einem Abschluß zu bringen: der Normalverbraucher da draußen hat keine Ahnung von effektiven Keywords, was ein Vorteil für uns ist. Viele Webagenturen verstehen sich auch nicht auf diesem Gebiet, bieten aber Suchmaschinenoptimierung an. Mit schlechten Ergebnissen für die Kunden. Und Nischenmärkte sind zehntausende vorhanden. Genug für jeden von uns, damit wir, die wir das Internet richtig zu nutzen wissen, bequem davon leben können. Unser Markt ist riesig – such dir einen aus.
